High Ambient Cooling System
Standby generator sets have long been used in some of the most hostile environments imaginable. That’s why each unit comes standard with a radiator designed to handle full-rated output in ambient conditions up to 50°C (122°F). When thing get hot, we keep cool.
Brushless Alternator
Our 1800 and 1500 rpm alternators are revolving-field design with single-bearing and drip-proof construction. Class H insulation contributes to long product life. The alternator and exciter insulation systems are impregnated for severe-environment operation. Plus, the alternator offers excellent motor starting, exceptional short circuit capability and high tolerance to distortion.
Skid Base
Skid bases are built of heavy gauge formed steel with integral vibration isolation, eliminating the need for installations of vibration spring isolators under the unit. Oil drains have valves and are extended to the outside of the skid for easy servicing. Optional fuel base tanks are available with a wide range of sizes and accessories to meet any need.

Generator set enclosures are constructed of 14-gauge galvanized steel, with stainless steel hinges and hardware to ensure long life in even the punishing environments. Trailer Mounted
Gammill Electric distributor and service provider of custom built trailers are vehicles specially designed and built for transporting generator sets with maximum safety at highway speeds. These mobile generators from 25 to 500kw are powered by Cummins, John Deere, and Mitsubishi mobile EPA certified engines. These are complete ready to run generator sets with DOT rated integral tank trailers. Standard equipment includes a heavy-duty weather enclosure with hinged doors, critical grade exhaust silencer, battery, oil, anti-freeze and full output circuit breaker. The standard analog control panel provides full instrumentation with voltmeter, frequency meter, and percent of load meter, oil pressure gauge, hour meter, coolant temperature gauge, fuel level gauge, and battery voltmeter. The controller also provides a safety shutdown system.
All trailers come equipped with a fuel tank built into the trailer, electric brakes with safety disconnect and 7 wire connector, torsion axle(s), front tongue jack, two rear stabilizer jacks, ICC lighting, and license plate bracket. These trailers also come with a lockable storage trunk at the front of the trailer. Units equipped with a sound attenuated enclosure will not exceed 80 dB sound levels.
